Nijut Moina Scheme Apply Online: Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday 2024 announced that the funds will be distributed to the beneficiaries of the Nijut Moina Scheme across the state on 6 October. Chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced this development on his social media handle. Speaking about the mode of distribution of funds, Biswa Sarma said it will be done through bank drafts for October, he added that the funds will be distributed through direct benefit transfer DBT from November onwards.
According to the Assam state government, a total of 10 lakh women citizens across the state will avail the financial assistance under The Assam Nijut Moina Scheme 2024. About Nijut Moina Scheme 2024
The chief minister of Assam state has presented a total budget of Rs 1500 crores for the implementation of the Nijut Moina Scheme. This budget will help to provide financial assistance to all the female citizens in the Assam state who cannot afford proper education.
Under The Assam Nijut Moina Scheme 2024, the selected girl students who apply will be given financial assistance of Rs1000 to Rs 25000 per month. - Girls enrolled in undergraduate 1st year (B.A./B.SC/B.Com) will be given financial assistance of Rs 1250 per month, which will be a total of Rs 12500 in 10 months.
- Girls enrolled in postgraduate 1st year (M.A./M.SC./M.Com/B.Ed) will be given financial assistants of Rs 2500 per month, which will be a total of Rs 25000 in 10 months.
