Nijut Moina List: Assam Nijut Moina Scheme was recently implemented by Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Financial assistant will be provided to the women of the state through this scheme. There is a good news for the women who had applied under this scheme. That the Nijut Moina Scheme beneficiary list has been released by the state government on Sunday 6 October 2024. All the women of the state who have applied can check their name in the Nijut Moina Yojana 1st installment beneficiary list.
The process of checking the name in the list is given under the article. Under this scheme, all girls studying at higher secondary level will get Rs 1000 every month, for degree students this amount will be 1000 to 1,250 and for postgraduate students it will be Rs 2,500.
About Nijut Moina List 2024
Asam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma handed over the first installment of monthly stipend to girl students from class 11th to postgraduate under a new government scheme. The scheme was launched by the Chief Minister in August and the beneficiary list of the first installment of the scheme was released on 6 October 2024.
Mr. Sarma handed over the first months cheques to the girl students at an event in Guwahati, while similar ceremonies were held across the state, where girls received the first installment under the Nijut Moina Scheme.

What are Rules for Nijut Moina List
The rules are simple: attend regular classes, maintain good academy performance and demonstrate discipline. The scheme does not apply to daughters of ministers, MLA or MPs and marriage will not be allowed until the girls complete their postgraduate studies, Biswa Sarma said.
Benefits under ‘Nijut Moina’ Scheme
Speaking on the occasion, Sarma said that this scheme has a dual objective of promoting women’s education and preventing child marriage. Today Assam has taken a major initiative. Under this scheme, all girls studying at higher secondary level will get Rs 1000 every month, for girls pursuing degree it will be Rs 1,250 and for girls pursuing post graduation it will be Rs 2,500. This step will help in preventing child marriage in Assam.
