West Bangla chief minister Mamta banarjee on Tuesday 24 September 2024 said that her government will release funds of 11 lakh houses by the first week of December for those who did not get homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).
Accusing the center of depriving them, Banerjee today claimed that the center has not released funds for the PMAY scheme for the last three years. “The center has deprived us to PMAY funds for the last three years. We will release funds for 11 lakh houses by the first week of December. The sarve for 11 lakh houses will begin as soon as the rains end, “Banerjee said.
