Maiya Samman Yojana Amount Increased: Jharkhand state government has increased the financial assistance under Maiya Samman Yojana. This scheme was launched by the Jharkhand state government to provide monthly financial assistance to all the economically weaker female citizens of Jharkhand state. Before the Jharkhand assembly elections, more than 50 lakh women of the state have received a big gift from the state government. This political decision of the Hemant Soren government before the elections is being considered a master stroke. The state government has decided to increase the amount of the chief minister Maiya Samman Yojana from Rs 1000 to Rs 2500.
This proposal was approved in the Jharkhand cabinet meeting held on Monday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. This amount will be transferred to the accounts of women from December.

Objective of Maiya Samman Yojana Amount Increased
The main objective of increasing financial assistance under the Maiya Samman Yojana is to improve the lives of all the women citizens of the Jharkhand state. With the help of more financial assistance, women citizens can buy more essential items and various items.
According to the Jharkhand state government, a total of 50 lakh women citizens of Jharkhand state will get new financial assistance under the Maiya Samman Yojana. All women citizens of Jharkhand state who are between the age of 18 and 50 are eligible to avail the scheme.
Rs 2500 Transferred to Women’s Accounts from December
Cabinet secretary Vandana Dadel, while talking to journalists after the meeting, said that women and sisters will get this honorarium from December. She told that the women who were getting Rs 1000 transferred to their bank accounts will get Rs 2500 from December. This scheme will put an additional financial burden of about Rs 900 crore.
Hemant said-The Government Does not Believe in Announcement but Believes in work.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren, while talking to reporters after the cabinet meeting, said that has government does not believe in announcements, but blues in working and talking decisions. This is the reason why it has been decided to increase the amount of Maiya Samman Yojana from Rs 1000 to Rs 2500. On the clan being made by the BJP about returning to power, Hemant Soren said that now the oppositions castle in the air is not going to work.
